Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Credit

CLE and CPE credit was available for registrants who attended sessions live on March 15, 17, and 19. Information can be found in your welcome letter and within the CLE/CPE tab of the conference platform. Certificates will be emailed after the conference, after your virtual attendance is confirmed. Please note that it could take up to six months for some states to approve the CLE credit for this conference.

The FBA is the 2021 Mutual Funds and Investment Management Conference cosponsor for Continuing Legal Education (CLE). Any questions regarding CLE should be directed to cle@fedbar.org. For additional questions on CPE, please contact Judy Lee at cpe@ici.org.

Applicants will generally receive CLE credit, with the conference sponsors cooperating to certify attendance. Application for approval will be submitted by the Federal Bar Association to the appropriate state agency. This program should qualify for approximately 10 hours of CLE credit. Because credit requirements vary by state and are governed by different regulatory agencies, please contact your governing body to learn if this program meets your individual requirements.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Credit

Upon completion of this program, each participant will be eligible for approximately 8 hours of CPE credit. ICI is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

Learning objectives: To provide updates on current securities law and other US and global legislative and regulatory developments affecting registered investment companies and investment advisers
Program level: Basic
Delivery mode: Group internet-based course

Your attendance will be verified by your participation in the polling questions. To receive credit for this program, please be sure to answer all polling questions for each session. CPE certificates will be emailed four to six weeks after your virtual attendance and participation is confirmed.

No prerequisites or advance preparations are necessary for these programs.
